Blueberry Mint Lemonade
Blueberry Mint Lemonade is seriously then easy to make and it really is such a nice care for! Strolling through the farmers markets here in LA, you tin can tell that Spring is badly trying to prove up! I mean don't become me wrong – it'southward dainty to have sunny and blue skies already – only I could use a niggling 80 degree weather asap! I'm an Arizona girl after all – and we don't really do the "common cold" very well.
So I'm thinking it's time to start prepping for leap – because Jump ways lots of fun parties on the beach, picnics in the park and just really cheery food and drink! This Blueberry Mint Lemonade is super quick to whip up and information technology's a full crowd pleaser. Not to mention the colour is gorgeous! All you need are some juicy Meyer Lemons (or regular lemons piece of work but fine – I but used Meyer Lemons because my Meyer Lemon tree is going basics and I have more lemons than I know what to do with!), a handful of blueberries plus some h2o and saccharide. Doesn't get much easier than that huh? You lot could also throw in a glug or 2 of Vodka if your serving it for a fun petty cocktail party (which I fully intend on doing!)
Course Drinks Cuisine American Juice the lemons and transfer the juice into a big pitcher. Add together the sugar and the water and stir to combine and dissolve the sugar. Add together the blueberries and mint. Using an immersion blender, alloy the mixture for well-nigh xx seconds but until the mixture turns pink and the mint is finely chopped. Add alcohol if desired. Let the flavors sit for 1 hour and then pour the mixture into some other pitcher through a strainer to remove the blueberry skins and mint leaves.
